Occupy Wall Street as a Socialist Movement to Overthrow the Government

I watch the Occupy Wall Street crowd fill the streets these days, and I am reminded of the protests of the sixties. Tear gas and pepper spray, young people chanting and screaming...but there are some serious differences.

Today’s world wide protests are not a noble call for the end of war or a demand for civil rights. Actually, there is much ambiguity as to what the protests are really all about.

One Wall Street Occupier says the protest is a demand for jobs, yet it is Wall Street that fuels the economy that creates the jobs.

Another Streeter gives out a sound byte that is a demand for the end of war, yet it is his hero, Barrack Obama, who has kept war going, escalated the beast into more wars, and this in spite of the prohibitions of the Constitution.

Yet another fellow claims that prices are too high. Yet it is not Wall Street that is driving up prices, it is the inflationary presses of Ben Bernanke and the Federal Reserve which are causing the value of money to descend.

No, the apparent similarity between the sixties protests and todays protests is not.

And to be honest, the vague reasoning and murky motivations of the mob are carefully planned. Uprisings do not occur spontaneously, except in the most dire of circumstances. The dire circumstances of todays inflation and wars are not spontaneous; they are a scheme.

A scheme for a different form of government, a form of government which doesn’t require an election or, dare I say it...personal responsibility.

We are talking socialism.

Socialism is that system which has never worked in the history of the world. Country after country has gone down because of the demand for socialism, and yet the people in the street gleefully chant on.

Hitler came into power on the wings of socialism, and thrust the world into war.

Russia unsettled the world for decades with their advanced form of socialism before finally imploding.

Now Greece is in the throes of the beast, and the thing is spreading through Europe and across the globe and into our own streets.

But what is Socialism?

Socialism is when people are brought together under one mind and robbed of incentive.

The actual step by step process for creating work is: you hold a yard sale to buy a broom to sweep a walk to buy a squeegee to clean a window to start a business cleaning businesses or washing windows or...carpet cleaning to get into floor reconstruction you know I could probably build that guy a shed and I might need a bit of backing when I try my hand at building a house and if I invest my money in running a restaurant...do you see?

Creating a job is a thoughtful series of steps, filled with risks and...responsibility.

Socialism is screaming in the streets until the applecart is overturned and somebody with a gun tells you to behave; it is not the act of creating a job, but rather the party in the streets whereby one turns over personal responsibility...and it all boils down to one culminating factor: this is not a war between haves and have nots.

The idea of a war between haves and have nots, you see, is the coal in the stove of socialism. But this is not that war.

No, the real war, behind the facade of Wall Street v the various faces of socialism is...intelligence v ignorance.

You see, everything stated here is not this writer’s opinion...everything stated here is history. We are repeating, you see, and those who don’t learn are doomed to repeat. And to not learn is to be ignorant.

Solutions?

Read Thomas Paine. Read the Constitution. Understand the Constitution by reading the Federalist Papers. And then read people like Marx and Mao. Understand them by reading Cloward and Piven. Read, and educate yourself, and then decide whether you wish to occupy Wall Street in the name of Socialism.
